Does Janus replace my TMS?
No. Janus works alongside your TMS. Janus covers the parts most TMS platforms struggle with: rate ingestion, quotation logic, booking prep, invoice matching, audits, and payments. It collects and structures this data, then feeds it into your TMS so operations teams stay in one system of record. That setup can also help reduce manual work and TMS-related service costs.
Which TMSs does Janus support?
Janus can connect to any TMS. We already integrate with several systems listed on our Integrations page. If yours is not there, get in touch. We regularly build custom connectors, including for in-house systems.
Can Janus process agent and co-loader rates?
Yes. Janus processes carrier rate sheets and agent and co-loader pricing. It classifies contract types, separates rate sources, and applies logic for each. This allows forwarders to leverage the full potential of their networks.
How long does it take to get started?
Many parts of Janus work out of the box. Deeper workflow integrations depend on the carriers, transport modes, and age of your systems. Modules can run independently, while end-to-end workflow setups take longer.
Why does Janus partner with a limited number of forwarders for custom solutions each year?
We tailor automation to your business needs. We deliver software for freight forwarders globally, however we recognize some forwarders have specific flows that require special treatment. We take on a select number of those cases each year for bespoke solutions.
